Advanced Aesthetics Master

Program summary

Duration of the internship

  • Duration of practical training: 2 weeks
  • Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
    • Prerequisites: Aesthetics course in accordance with the ministry’s competency standards, offered by our vocational training partners in the field of aesthetics. (4 to 6 months, flexible)
    • DEP in Cosmetology or Nursing

Theory: One module per week for 10 weeks

100% online, designed to be fun and interactive. The difference with our advanced esthetics training is that in this course you can learn photorejuvenation and permanent hair removal in practice.

  • At your own pace (1 module per week).
  • Only obligation: Virtual class on Thursday AM or PM (60-minute class)
  • Quiz to be handed in on Fridays
  • Practical training – 2 weeks at the end of the theory course
  • Graduation Ceremony

Function and Purpose

Aims to train beauticians specializing in advanced esthetics, nurses or auxiliaries specializing in medical esthetics.

Practical part of the training

We value clinical experience, and we want to give you the opportunity to build your portfolio right during your clinical internship!

You’ll provide medical-aesthetic care using a variety of techniques for different applications such as: skin firming, fine lines and wrinkles, treatment of pigment spots, rosacea, couperose, treatment of active acne and acne scars, photorejuvenation, permanent hair removal, and more. You’ll also treat many skin problems such as rosacea, couperose, cellulite and other conditions treatable with advanced technologies.

Eligibility

Check your eligibility by requesting information.

  • Prerequisites: Accelerated DEP equivalency program with our staff. (4 to 6 months, flexible)
  • DEP in Cosmetology or Nursing

Criterion 1

  • Be at least 16 years old as of September 30 of theschool year in which you begin the program and have earned credits in Secondary 5 in the language of instruction and in Secondary 4 in a second language and in mathematics in curriculum programs established by the Minister, or have completed coursework recognized as equivalent;

Criterion 2

  • Be at least 18 years of age at the time of enrolling in the accelerated program and meet the functional prerequisites, namely, passing the general development test and completing the Secondary 5 courses in the language of instruction within a curriculum established by the Minister, or having completed learning experiences recognized as equivalent.

Criterion 3

  • Hold a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent (e.g., a certificate of educational equivalency) or a post-secondary degree, such as a college diploma or a bachelor’s degree;
  • PrerequisitesDEP equivalence accelerated with our employees. (4 to 6 months, flexible)
  • DEP in Cosmetology or Nursing
